Tzivia Schwartz Getzug
Tzivia Schwartz Getzug is a consultant to foundations, non-profits, individuals and others seeking leadership development, organizational marketing, and philanthropic support. She serves as the West Coast Director for the Jewish Funders Network, assisting Jewish philanthropists in accessing JFN’s international network and becoming more strategic and impactful in their giving. She also directs the Jewish Venture Philanthropy Fund–LA and is the U.S.-based staff for the Social Venture Fund for Jewish-Arab Equality and Shared Society.
Tzivia’s extensive experience includes serving as the founding executive director of Jewish World Watch. She has a BA in Jewish Studies from UCLA and a law degree from Loyola Law School. She practiced labor and business law for several years before becoming the Western States Counsel for the Anti-Defamation League. She then left the ADL to work with Jeffrey Katzenberg as the Community Liaison on DreamWorks Animation’s The Prince of Egypt. Tzivia also served as the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at the Los Angeles Jewish Federation, where she was responsible for the work of the Jewish Community Relations Committee.
Tzivia is a passionate advocate for social change and has served on the Jewish Social Justice Roundtable. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Selah, a Jewish social justice leadership training program, a member of the board of Camp Ramah in California, an active member of the Los Angeles Jewish community, and a lifelong advocate for Israel.
Tzivia and her husband, Steve Getzug, are the proud parents of Coby (25), Micah (22) and Noa (17).
