Please join Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom for its annual conference on Sunday Oct. 27th!

There will be a Pre-Conference Meet and Greet Event on Saturday evening, Oct 26 at 6:00 p.m. in a lovely garden in Elk Grove to hear beautiful music, enjoy delicious hors d’ouevres and hear from Sisterhood leadership.

The Keynote conversation will be moderated by NewGround’s Executive Director, Aziza Hasan. Aziza will also be leading a workshop entitled Bridging Work: Tools and Commitment for Sustained Dialogue in Challenging Times.

“While bridging work is often seen as a positive and harmonious endeavor, current events have revealed that working through divides and strong differences requires resilience, discipline, and grit. This session will explore the tools and commitment needed to sustain dialogue and meaningful relationships, especially in times of intense disagreement and challenge.”

The conference is open to all faiths and genders. Join for a day dedicated to networking, meeting friends, developing new skills, learning from renowned experts, and doing your part in creating a just, peaceful, and inclusive world.
