Sheila Milon has been an annual attendee of the Islamic Center of Southern California, since she was 5. She is going to be a member of Muslim Youth Group this fall. She enjoys educating others about things she knows about Christianity, Judaism, and mainly Islam. Her goal is to help her community out in any way possible, starting with erasing the stereotypes about Islam. She serves as an elected officer in her school’s leadership council, as well as a very active member in her school’s Math Club. In her community, she serves as a one-on-one tutor for all subjects at a local homeless/transitional shelter. She volunteers at a local hospital. She also interns for NewGround. She hopes to one day major and minor in Political Science and International Relations, so she can help bring social change and justice to the population.
